The relaxed village of Callao Salvaje is situated at the southside of the island Tenerife. A small community where you can find bars and restaurants that entertain in a relaxed atmosphere under the ever present Mt. Teide.
Take a coastal walk and follow the paths of the beachside banana plantations through the 'baranco's'. Or just sunbathe by the calm sea set within the rugged cliffs of the romantic bay. Callao Salvaje is ideal for those seeking a secluded, undisturbed holiday with livelier areas within reach.
If you fancy spending the day on the beach, Fañabe beach is only a 10 minute drive away. There you'll find the hotels, many good restaurants, beach bars and shops. From there, you can walk along the beach to the more crowded Los Cristianos and Las Americas. On this walk you will pass a diversity of places: the harbour of Torviscas where you can see the scholls of fish swiming right before you, bars and restaurants, surfer boys and girls, shops, and yachts gliding along the glistening coastline.
Callao Salvaje is just a short 25 minute drive to the marina town of Los Gigantes, one of the most wounderful locations of the island. Centred around the busy Marina which offers Boat trips, watersports, diving and bars and restaurants just to relax and watch the world pass you by. A must for all who have never been!
You can do all this by car (cheap rentals at airport or in the village), or just take the bus, 50 meters from the property.
